In 1984 he had been living in Colorado, but at the time of his disappearance was in Georgia. On 8/4/1984 at 9 pm he left, stating he was driving to Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Atlanta and would return that night, but did not return. At 3 AM 8/5/84, vehicle was parked on I-59 southbound interstate outside Birmingham, Alabama. Individual driving vehicle was ticketed, with ticket written to David Cunningham. However, when the officer was contacted 2 weeks later, he could not remember or confirm if driver was David. Neither he nor the car has been seen since.
Sandy blonde, slightly wavy, styled layer cut. Tone of blondness of hair would vary depending on time of year and sun exposure.
Hair was collar length.
Tan birthmark on side of calf on one leg.
Earlier ear piercings, but did not usually wear earring.
