Evelyn Piper telephoned her daughter on the morning of November 30, 1994 (approximately 9:00 A.M. Piper told her daughter that she was leaving for Jerusalem to get married. Piperâ€™s daughter believed her mother was joking because she was not dating anyone.
Piper stated that she would return the following Sunday. Piperâ€™s daughter has not seen or heard from her since. Daughter does not know who her mother was planning to marry.
Piper had some type of business holding â€œjewelry shows.â€ Piper asked her daughter to hold her jewelry shows while she was gone. Her daughter declined because she did not know how to do them. Piper replied that she would make other arrangements.

she had a scar on her left ankle and an abdominal scar.
her ears were pierced

she wore glasses but only to read and it is unknown if she was wearing them
she had a black purse that was a hobo style that had different color patchwork pieces on it. it was a leather purse.

Found Piperâ€™s car at the Columbus, GA Municipal Airport. Car parked in long term parking. No evidence that Piper had a plane ticket. Parking ticket to the long term lot has not been found.
