John Lake was last seen on the evening of December 10, 1967 in Manhattan, NY, after having dinner with an acquaintance. According to the acquaintance, he had several drinks when he dropped her off at her apartment in Midtown and began walking to a subway station to go downtown to his apartment in Greenwich Village. He was not seen again.
John's hair was dark in color at the time of his disappearance
At the time of his disappearance, John wore black-rimmed eyeglasses
John has a small scar on his right chin (approx. 1/2"), a small scar on the front of his right knee (approx. 1/2"), a small scar on the front of his left knee (approx. 1/2"), a vaccination scar on his upper left arm (vsula), two pock marks/scars on his left back, two pock marks/scars on the back of his right neck area and on the back of his mid upper right arm.
John is right handed

John may have been wearing a navy blue blazer with striped lining at the time of his disappearance. He may also have been wearing a black turleneck shirt.
